A small lidded box in Satsuma style, with a daimyō procession on the outside and birds and flowers inside, recorded by the British Museum as made by Yabu Meizan.

Curatorial notes

Buff glazed and enamelled pottery. Bequeathed by Captain Collingwood Ingram. The museum's date of 18th–19th century cannot be reconciled with Meizan's dates (studio founded 1880) and appears to be a cataloguing anomaly.
