A teapot whose shape Lawrence derives from English silver teapots. Meizan has turned the handle into a dragon, the spout into a bird (captioned as a cockerel; the text calls it a phoenix) and the knob into a flaming pearl. One side has a lakeside panel and the reverse women at leisure. Lawrence dates it to about 1890, because of its mixed themes and distinctive shape.
